Our 2021 Montepulciano Rose is intense and compact on the palate, dry and refreshing with a savoury aftertaste that is appetising and food-friendly.

The montepulciano is an Italian grape variety, which when grown in Eden Valley creates a fruit driven lively palette of cherries and cranberries which gives away to a spicy aromatic finish.

Our winemaker, Jo Irvine, has carefully drafted this rose to ba a luscious, crisp and dry style.

The Interpreter Rose is named after our ancestor Heindrich Fiebiger, who, amongst many varied roles in the pioneering days, acted as an interpreter during public meetings when the locals petitions the South Australian Govener to form a local council.
